Running a space station is less about heroics and more about spreadsheets that will kill you if you ignore them. Orbital Station Simulator leans all the way into that idea: you’re not piloting anything or fighting aliens — you’re keeping a fragile system alive for 30 days straight.

The core loop

Every station has three things fighting for your attention at once:

  • Power — generate and distribute enough to keep every system running
  • Life support — oxygen, temperature, and the systems your crew actually depends on
  • Crew — morale, assignments, and keeping people alive when something goes wrong

Random events show up to test whatever you’ve under-prioritized — a power surge, a life support fault, a crew crisis — and how you triage them determines whether you make it to certification on day 30 or not.

Key features

  • A genuine resource-management sim with three interlocking systems to balance
  • Random events keep every run different — no two playthroughs go the same way
  • A clear win condition: survive and earn certification by day 30
  • Free to play in the browser, with desktop and mobile builds available too
